        Home Communion Distribution<\/span>
        <\/strong>Assist in the delivery of Communion to our home-bound members in private homes, care facilities or group homes upon request.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Altar Guild
        <\/strong><\/span>The purpose of the Altar Guild is to care for the Altar area, its furnishings, linens, paraments, and appointments. Members wear white gloves whenever touching Communion Vessels. Special preparations are made for the church seasons of Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas, as well as all Baptisms.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Communion Bread<\/span>
        <\/strong>Communion servers have the privilege of sharing the communion elements with the congregation during worship.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Senior Choir<\/span>
        <\/strong>If you love to sing to the Lord, we\u2019d love to have you join us every Sunday service. We hold rehearsals every Thursday night at 7 PM.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Flower Delivery<\/span>
        <\/strong>The Flower Delivery volunteer is someone who helps to deliver flower arrangements to the Church as requested.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Transportation<\/span>
        <\/strong>We need drivers for deliveries, home Communion, transporting parishioners to church, and other transportation needs.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Communion Deacons<\/span>
        <\/strong>After receiving communion from the pastor, take the flagon, napkin, and chalice to the center of the altar and fill the individual communion cups saying \u201cthe Blood of Christ shed for you\u201d and refill the chalice as necessary. Prepare to take communion to a member who is unable to come to the altar.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Sound System<\/span>
        <\/strong>Assist in running the sound system during services and special events. Ensures microphones are working and the choirs can be heard throughout the church and during streaming.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Sunday School Teachers<\/h6>\n

        If you love teaching and wish to share your faith with our youth and children, we are looking for Sunday School teachers for all classes.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Kid\u2019s Kingdom<\/h6>\n

        Kid\u2019s Kingdom Preschool is a Christian, developmentally appropriate early childhood education program so that they might know the love God has for them in Christ Jesus.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Youth<\/h6>\n

        The Youth Ministry is a thriving source of fellowship, Bible study, sharing and growing in the faith of Jesus Christ. We are always looking for those who feel called to Youth Leadership; those who are teachers, leaders, supportive, and encouragers of our youth grades 6-12.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Backyard Mission<\/span>
        <\/strong>Beginning first in our own backyard, then moving out into the world, we seek to obey God\u2019s commandment to demonstrate the love of Christ & share the gospel message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Community Dinners<\/span>
        <\/strong>Help to prepare and serve free food for the Community. Setup dinning room before the meal and help with cleanup after the meal.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Parish Nurse<\/span>
        <\/strong>The parish nurse is a registered nurse who is committed to \u2014 and, on a broad level, is an integral part of \u2014 the concept of LCMS Health Ministry. He\/she works with the members of the health ministry committee or health cabinet, helping and enabling people of the congregation and the community attain, maintain and\/or regain optimal health. Parish nursing is a unique blending of professional nursing and spiritual caregiving. We recommend the parish nurse attend a special preparation program for parish nursing.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Bloodmobile <\/span>
        You are requested help setup a drive to get blood donations, to either maintain a general supply or in response to a specific shortage or emergency.

        Ladies Bible Study\/ Circles<\/span>
        <\/strong>The Women of our Congregation meet every Tuesday at 10:30 AM to read and study Holy Scripture.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Prayer Chain<\/span>
        <\/strong>Prayer requests are received from the Pastors and updated regularly. We continue to remember our homebound, those in nursing care, caregivers, families with difficulties, and the bereaved. We also pray for our Pastors, our Church Board, our Sunday Church School, our Youth and our church members.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        <\/strong>The ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) is a church of about 4 million members who actively participate in God\u2019s work in the world. We believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. The WELCA is the women\u2019s organization of the ELCA.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        Book Club<\/span>
        Gather with fellow parishioners to discuss, express opinions, likes, dislikes, etc. of a book or books that the group has chosen to read.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        LSS Food Cart Delivery<\/span>
        <\/strong>We try to meet our clients where they are so that we can help them better their lives. That means taking the LSS Food Pantries on the road to our communities where families are suffering from food insecurity and hunger.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Rummage Sale<\/span>
        <\/strong>An annual event to help raise money for missions. It is a wonderful ministry that helps many in our community. Most of the proceeds from this ministry are given to various community organizations such as Salvation Army, Core Furniture, many local food banks etc. to help those in need served by these organizations.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
